Shipping and handling charges are based on weight, box dimension and destination.
I am always happy to combine purchases so that you can save on shipping. It is very easy to combine items that are the same size. However, sometimes I need to actually pack the order and weigh it before I can give you a combined shipping price. This is because of the variations in the sizes of the individual boxes in which the quilts are packaged, which determines what size outer box, if any, I need to use, and how much packing materials I need to use as well. So, bear with me if it takes 24 hours to get back to you. If you choose to just pay the shipping amount that automatically comes up, I will issue you an immediate refund for any overpayment after I have actually packed and weighed your order.
What kind of glass are stained glass quilts made of?
These prismatic pieces are assembled from stained glass, and stained and textured beveled and clear glass that is made in the USA.
How Do I Hang a Stained Glass Quilt?
All squares have decorative hooks and include chain for hanging. Suction cups work well to hang them in a windown, or one or two eyehooks screwed into the top of a window strung with fishing line and ~viola~ they look as though they're floating!
They can be hung separately, or in sets. If you want to hang your stained glass block pattern in places other than a window, or a location where it needs to be free-standing, such as a table, counter, mantle, bookshelf, dresser, wide windowsill or any other corner of your home, we also offer attractive, sturdy black metal quilt display stands (sold separately here) in a variety of sizes.
