CLEANING
The final step of the manufacturing process involves the use of oil that protects the solder from oxidizing.  If you want to clean your glass pieces at any time, you can use any commercial glass cleaner.  Simply spray and dry with a soft cloth.  You can also wash them in a mild dishwashing liquid.  Do NOT use any abrasive cleansers!

HANGING
All items come with chain for hanging.  Pieces can also be hung with a medium to heavyweight fish line.  Suction cups are not recommended because they sometimes dry out from sun exposure, and your glass pieces could fall and break.

Cup hooks are an easy way to suspend your pieces in most windows.  They can be screwed into the wooden molding at the top of the window frame.  They are usually available in white or brass but can be painted to match the window frame.
